Oh, additionally...
The elemental essence of the film is dropping the audience into the middle of the events with a handful of questions and answering them as the movie progresses.

Here's an idea I have for a movie I'm working on that you could use;
If you want to start the opening at the end and then progress by continuing from the beginning then maybe you should change the ending by not actually opening with the ending.
See, it worked for Momento because the movie started at the ending and progressed in reverse so you never knew what the beginning was until the end.
Maybe what you should do is start with a scene near the end that does'nt give away the answer to the Final Act (Resolution), which is actually suppose to be your Opening Act (Setup). Remember, that's what it's suppose to be, a Setup.
So, what I'm trying to say is start with a question to the answer. That way your audience is automatically intrigued and needing to know how it ends.

Well, here.. I've written down a preliminary for the last suggestion... Let's compare these two.
CURRENT OPENING SEQUENCE
SETTING: Garage Interior
WHAT'S GOING ON: Jason [me] is kind of writhing around on the floor, dying.
LINES:
It?s like waking up from a dreamless sleep. Where am I, and how long have I been here? It doesn?t matter anymore.
What does matter is that in the past few weeks, something terrible?s been growing because of our ignorance, and now it?s out and it?s bringing us down, one by one.
I almost wonder how it is I got here?
But I already know? I was here from the beginning.
I know it all.

OPENING SEQUENCE "2"
SETTING: House Interior
WHAT'S GOING ON: Jason [me] is walking around the inside of the abandoned house with a handgun.
LINES:
Jordon had gone completely fucking nuts.
Not that I could blame him. We were all a little nuts to begin with, but what had been taking place in these past weeks haven't helped any of us out much.
Alan is long gone, Ben is out of the picture, Jordon is completely insane. Where does that leave me?
It leaves me here. Here, with a gun, alone, in an abandoned house, with a murderer.
But every one of us is guilty.

Thats not too bad. Add some flash backs of what has happened to his friends. Probably some facial close ups of their faces and have the main actors Voice Over explaining what had happened. Should be OK.
Then begin the following scenes from the start and your concept should work for you.

The more I know, the more I know I don't know.
